INDIAN INSTITUTES OF SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (IISER)

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) are Premier Science Education and Research Institutes in India. These institutions have been declared by the Act of Parliament as “Institutions of National Importance”.

There are currently 07 Centres for IISER in India. IISER campus in Kerala is at Thiruvanathapuram. Admission to IISERs can be through IIT-JEE Exam (2) KVPY Fellowship/ INSPIRE- SHE and (3) IISER Entrance Exam.
