ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE AND NURSING ENTRANCE EXAM

AIIMS NURSING ENTRANCE EXAM is a national level examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi for admission of various Nursing Courses in the AIIMS in the country. Admission to B.Sc (H), Post basic and M.Sc Nursing Programs are on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination.

Annual Fee for B.Sc (H) Nursing Course is surprisingly Rs 2400/- only. Other Paramedical courses in various AIIMS are B.Sc in Anesthesia Technology, Urology Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Respiratory Technology, Neuro- Laboratary Technology, Neuro- Monitoring Technology. Orthopaedies Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Dental Hygiene, Dental Operating Room Assistance, Medical Technology in Radiography, Medical Technology in Dialysis, Sleep Laboratory Technology Emergency Medicine Technicians, Operation Theatre Technology, Perfusion Technology, Optometry etc.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, is a Public Medical Re-search University and Hospital . It is goverened by the AIIMS Act, 1956 and oper-ates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

These Institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as“ Institute of Na-tional Importance” Since then, 24 more institutes were announced. As of January 2023, twenty Institutes are operating and the remaining four more are expected to be opened by 2025. Proposals are made for six more AIIMS.

AIIMS Conduct Programs in Medical and Paramedical courses both at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research levels. The Institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and high quality treatment. Teaching and Research are conducted 42 disciplines.
